The Prix du Jockey Club
The Prix du Jockey-Club, inaugurated in 1836, is one of the highlights of the Flat racing season and the second-richest race of the year in France. At the end of 2,100 metres, it crowns the best three-year-old colt or filly each year. It is run at prestigious Chantilly racecourse and the winner will be expected to take on the world's best thoroughbreds on the first weekend in October in the Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe.
